Defending Against Ransomware

Our Resources

Ransomware continues to be one of the most significant data security threats to organisations throughout Ireland. Most recently, the ransomware attack on the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) computer systems, resulted in a complete IT shutdown.

In short, ransomware involves a piece of malware which infects technology systems, encrypting your valuable data. The victim is then asked to pay an extortionate ransom fee or the data will never be made available to them again.

To avoid this from occurring or to recover from an attack, Renaissance offer a complete suite of anti-ransomware products. Browse our catalogue of educational resources to stay up to date with the latest ransomware trends and best practices to defend against them.
