Evolving the Garda's Digital Innovation Transformation  

Tim and his team have dedicated significant time to working with diverse innovation groups to define problems challenges experienceswith mobile technology and substantial digital changes have been made within the organisation in recent years. During this recorded presentation and Q&A, Tim will highlight the Garda Digital Innovation Transformation Journey and more specifically the ‘mobility project’ which has seen An Garda Síochána utilise smartphones as a platform for change.

The Garda of today now have smart secure devices in their hands enabling access to a secure data enabled toolkit and a range of Smart Apps have been developed to manage the data lifecycle. Tim will provide insight into how many digital devices are currently now in use, the upgrades that have been made to Garda vehicles and how mobile policing is enabling a faster and more interactive service, while easing the oversight process.
