Who Holds Your Keys? Data Sovereignty and Protection Against Tomorrow’s Quantum Threats
Find out who really controls access to your data, and how to keep your encryption protected as post-quantum cryptography arrives.
Wednesday 11th November | 10AM
Your organisation may know exactly where its data is stored. But do you know who can actually access it?
For Irish organisations relying on global cloud providers, storing data within the EU does not necessarily mean keeping it beyond the reach of foreign legal demands. Under the US CLOUD Act, providers subject to US jurisdiction may be required to disclose data within their possession, custody or control, regardless of where it is stored.
That raises an important question: if your cloud provider also controls your encryption keys, how much control do you really have over your data?
There is another challenge approaching also. Google and Cloudflare are targeting 2029 for their post-quantum security transitions, while NIST is moving towards the retirement of quantum-vulnerable cryptographic algorithms by 2035. Meanwhile, the threat of harvest now, decrypt later means sensitive information intercepted today could potentially be exposed in the future.
The challenge is no longer simply where your data lives. It is who controls access to it, and whether that protection will stand the test of time.
Join Renaissance and Utimaco for a practical webinar exploring how organisations can strengthen data sovereignty, take greater control of encryption keys and prepare for the transition to post-quantum cryptography.
Who Should Attend?
This session is designed for IT and security leaders, CISOs, cloud architects, compliance professionals and decision-makers responsible for protecting sensitive organisational data. It will also be valuable for MSPs, VARs and ITSPs advising customers on cloud security, encryption, data sovereignty and long-term cyber resilience.
Register now to understand who holds your keys, what that means for your organisation and how to prepare for the next generation of encryption.
